“I know what I should eat, I just don’t do it!”

I hear this a lot from clients. They feel they know what they should be doing and eating, but lack the motivation and inspiration to take action, and there’s often a reason for this! My 500-hour yoga teacher training included elements of life coaching, but I rarely integrated it into my nutrition counselling until recently. Immersing myself in life coaching again, I have found it to perfectly complement my nutrition counselling work to help clients achieve their results and stay on track. And I now offer combined nutrition and life coaching as a premium service.

Knowing what’s right to eat these days is often confusing considering the huge amount of information at our fingertips. We are bombarded daily with headlines promoting the newest diet fad (which often doesn’t work in the long term BTW!).

What does work, is consistent eating and lifestyle habits designed around you.

I believe there is power in your food choices and I believe everyone deserves to be well. Start with what you eat – you eat every day so you might as well make it count!

I was inspired to become a dietitian after seeing nutrition in action when my father was on dialysis from polycystic kidney disease. What he ate was integral to his treatment success and I found it fascinating. Becoming a dietitian felt right after several years working in restaurants while simultaneously being very health focused heading to the gym in between shifts or running or rowing or golfing or cycling…

These days, I love working with middle-aged women. They have often prioritized their family and are lost on how to address the niggling and often perplexing health conditions creeping into their day-to-day life and sometimes they simply lack the motivation to do so. I help them work through the barriers to feel better and live a more energised and balanced life.

What you eat is a key factor (and sometimes cause) for many conditions like insulin resistance, diabetes, heart disease, irritable bowel syndrome and food intolerances. I find the expanding area of gut health incredibly interesting and integral to overall health, and I work with clients to make positive food and lifestyle changes both in person and online appointments.

Are you ready to start feeling confident in your food choices and living a better life?
